This immersive day trip takes you beyond the city to explore the beautiful Petite Nation region, where you'll visit three family-owned and operated producers, including two wineries and one cider mill.

With over 20 wine and cider tastings included, this is the most comprehensive wine tasting tours available from Ottawa and Gatineau. Guests will enjoy a carefully curated selection of award-winning wines, handcrafted ciders, and unique local products while discovering the stories, traditions, and passion behind each family-run operation.

Throughout the day, you'll experience the diversity of Quebec's growing wine and cider industry. From crisp dry ciders and specialty ciders to distinctive wines crafted from locally grown fruit and wine grapes, each stop offers a different perspective on the region's rich agricultural heritage. You'll also enjoy exclusive behind-the-scenes visits, learning directly from the owners and producers who have dedicated themselves to their craft.

A delicious homemade lunch is included and served at one of the wineries (homemade pizza, strawberry pie, charcuterie, etc.), allowing guests to relax and savour local flavours while taking in the scenic countryside.

Tour Schedule & Transportation:

This Petite-Nation Wine & Cider Tour is offered every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from the end of May until the end of September from 10:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. The tour is run in our bus with groups of up to 14 people. Many pick-up and drop-off options are available (see Pick up/Drop off section for more information). For larger groups (over 14 guests) or for private events, please contact us so that we can better accommodate your needs by email or by phone. Many pickup and drop-off locations are available (see pickup/drop-off section for more information). Pickups will occur up to 45 minutes before the beginning of the tour time. A precise pickup time and all the details for your tour will be sent to you by email on the Monday before your tour date. You can choose a preferred pickup location at checkout.  

What's Included & Pricing:

The price includes transportation, your awesome guide, a minimum of 20 tastings of wine and cider, a full lunch, and lots snacks for the day. It will be possible to purchase wine and other products at each of the visited location. Must be 18 years or older to be part of the Petite-Nation Wine & Cider Tour. Our tours are all inclusive (except our walking tours). Transportation, guide, cost of activities, and food are all included in the price of the tour. We wish to offer worry-free adventures to our guests so that they can relax and enjoy their adventure to it's fullest without having to think about the costs or details.

Here are just some of the things which we provide for no extra cost:

-Umbrellas in case of rainy days;

-Hiking poles for tours involving a hike;

-Snacks on selected tours;

-Bug repellant;

-Crampons and snowshoes during our winter tours.

-Transportation (except our walking tours)

We recommend you bring the following in order to make your experience more comfortable:

-Bring appropriate footwear depending on the chosen tour, preferably something that is comfortable to walk in and waterproof in case of hiking;

-We recommend you bring a reusable water bottle in order to avoid wasting plastic! We will have cold water readily available for you!

-For outdoor tours, a hat, sunscreen, and bug spray is recommended (we can provide appropriate bug repellant during the tour);

-In case of rain, we will provide guest with an umbrella, but we still recommend wearing a rain jacket or poncho.

-During the winter, make sure to wear layers (coat, inner jacket, long sleeve shirt, etc.) to keep warm. Also, wear appropriate footwear, gloves, and head coverings. Snow pants or layers for your legs are recommended on very cold days. We will have hot paws to help out!

For all of our tours, guests will receive a detailed email on the Monday before their tour date with a detailed list of things provided and to bring to ensure they have the best worry-free experience.

Aventure Outaouais offers free pick-ups and drop-offs for all our guests:

For guests staying in one of the selected accommodations (list below) in the National Capital Region (Ottawa or Gatineau), a pick-up time (typically within a 10 minute time frame 45 minutes before the tour begins) will be sent to you by email prior to your tour. If you are not staying at these locations, you may still use them. Not sure if you’re staying within a selected accommodation? During the checkout process, you will need to choose which accommodation you wish to be picked up at.
