Gatineau Craft Beer Tour - From Ottawa & Gatineau

Get ready to taste your way through Quebec’s thriving craft beer scene on our Gatineau Craft Beer Tour—a full evening of flavour, discovery, and good times.

This guided experience includes 12 beer tastings from three outstanding Gatineau microbreweries, each showcasing a unique take on craft brewing. From crisp Mexican-style lagers to hop-forward IPAs and rich, creamy oatmeal stouts, you’ll explore a wide range of styles that highlight the creativity and quality of Quebec brewers.

At each stop, enjoy behind-the-scenes brewery tours where you’ll learn how these local favourites are brewed, straight from the people who make them.

And don’t worry—we won’t let you start a beer tour on an empty stomach. The tour kicks off with a mouth-watering smash burger and homemade chips, served at our first brewery to set the tone for the night.

With round-trip transportation from Ottawa and Gatineau included, all you have to do is sit back, sip, and enjoy a night packed with great beer, great food, and great company.

Microbreweries Visited & What's Included:

Every week, we switch up the brewery lineup to keep things fresh, fun, and full of surprises. We call it the Gatineau Beer Roulette.On each tour, we’ll visit 3 rotating breweries from our curated selection of local favourites:

• Brasserie artisanale Gallicus: Know for their incredible oak barrel aged beers, enjoy 4 tastings of beer and learn about the production of beer in oak barrels; 
• Microbrasserie 5e Baron: get 2 tastings of beer and 1 full beer of your choice while getting a backstage tour of their production room. 
• À la Dérive - Brasserie Artisanale: Enjoy a full flight of beer (4 tastings) in their awesome local brewery in the heart of Gatineau. Go backtage and learn about the production of local craft beer. Plus, guests will be served the most amazing smash burger with homemade chips (vegetarian alternative available).
• Brasseurs Des Collines: This newcomer to the region's craft beer scene produces incredible craft beers using ingredients 100% from the province of Quebec. Here, guests will enjoy a flight of 4 tastings of beer. 
• Chelsea & Co. Brewery: Located in the heart of Chelsea, get ready for great vibes and the for the most epic patio atmosphere at this local brewery. Here, you will enjoy 3 6oz tastings of beer. 

Tour Schedule & Transportation: 

The Gatineau Craft Beer Tour is offered every Thursday night from 5:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. The tour is run in our minibus with groups of up to 14 people. Many pickup and drop-off options are available (see Pick up/Drop off section for more information). Pickups will occur up to 50 minutes before the beginning of the tour. You can choose a preferred pickup location at checkout and a specific pickup time will be sent to you by email on the Monday prior to your tour date.

Pricing:

The price includes your transportation, your guide, all your tastings and food. Gratuities are not included but appreciated. Price is per participant. It will be possible to purchase products (beer and merchandise) at each one of the visited locations. Guests must be 18 years or older to take part to the Gatineau Craft Beer Tour. Because of all the alcohol consumption during this tour, we highly recommend that guests use an alternative means of transportation to get home after the tour.
